Ayushmann Khurrana, who was previously seen in Anubhav Sinha’s political thrill ride Anek, surprised his fans and followers on Monday, July 11, when he recreated Ranbir Kapoor’s famous-towel pose from the latter’s debut movie Saawariya as he shared a photograph simply wearing a towel on his Instagram account.
Alongside the picture taken against the backdrop of a beautiful palace, the Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan actor penned, “Where am I? Wrong answers only”. This invited funny comments from the film fraternity people and the netizens. Arjun Kapoor, who is preparing for the arrival of his forthcoming movie Ek Villain Returns, took to the comments section and commented, “Andheri”.
Actor Gurpreet Saini, who also co-wrote the lyrics of Ayushmann’s famous love track Mitti Di Khushboo, likewise had a rib-tickling response as he commented, “Kapdon se bahar”. Khurrana’s friend Rochak Kohli, who has composed many hit tracks for the actor including Paani Da Rang in the former’s debut movie Vicky Donor, commented, “Glad you liked my new bunglow in paris pind”.
However, it was Kartik Aaryan who had an epic response to the photograph that left netizens in splits. The actor, who has recently come back from his Europe vacation enjoying the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, took to the comments section and commented, “Mere kamre mein (In my room)”.
In the meantime, on the work front, Ayushmann will be seen next in Anubhuti Kashyap’s social comedy Doctor G opposite Rakul Preet Singh.
