This was revealed by Kim herself who said that the decision to wrap up the show was taken jointly by the family. Although she spoke that it was a bit difficult decision, but finally they announced it. KUWTK showcased the journey of Kardashian sisters- Kim, Khloe and Kourtney. The show ran for 14 years.
Meanwhile, Kim revealed about the sex tape that caught a lot of attention back in 2007. She finally spoke in an interview that she wanted to discuss what she was going through. And that’s why she decided to discuss the sex tape on KUWTK. In a statement with Los Angeles Times, she said that addressing the tape would have not happened if it was not for KUWTK. But she “At the end of the day, I was always open and honest and wanted to share whatever I was going through. I wasn’t gonna hold back,”
For the uninitiated Kim and rapper, Ray J made tapes in 2002, which got released in 2007, during the first episode of KUWTK. And discussing it Kourtney asked that why she made the tape with Ray J to which she replied “Because I was horny and I felt like it.”
