    Kulmeet Makkar, CEO of Film And TV Producers Guild Died Of Heart Attack

    While we were still trying to deal with the saddening death news of the famous actors Irfaan Khan And Rishi Kapoor. Another piece of bad news again came up. Film and Television Producers Guild of India CEO, Kulmeet Makkar also said goodbye to this world. The 60-year-old Kulmeet died of a heart attack. As news spread, there has been a wave of mourning in Bollywood. Celebrities are paying tribute to him. The news was confirmed by Ashoke Pandit, President, Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association, who took to social media to announce the news.

    Kulmeet was at Dharamshala(Himachal Pradesh) when he died. He passed away early morning on May 1st, 2020, when he suffered a heart attack. Makkar has spent more than 30 years in the entertainment industry. Also, he was associated with many companies including Saregama and Reliance Entertainment. In 2010, Kulmeet joined the Producers Guild of India as CEO. After his death, Celebrities are paying tribute to him.

    Karan Johar expressing grief on his twitter handle wrote – Kulmeet, you were like a pillar for the Producers of Guild of India. who continued to work tirelessly to advance the industry. You left too early. You will always be missed Peace be with you my friend.

    Let us tell you that Kulmeet was working on setting up a trust for daily wage workers affected by the nationwide lockdown. For which Netflix announced a contribution of one million dollars.  But now the sudden death of the producer has shaken everyone.
