Popular Bollywood singer Chinmayi Sripada, accused famous Sri Lankan cricketer Lasith Malinga of sexual assault in the wake of #MeToo movement in India. Actually, she is not the victim here but she shared the harrowing incident of a woman who accused Lasith Malinga of sexual assault.
Chinmayi took to Twitter last year to share a post about Lasith Malinga’s assault on another woman, who would like to remain anonymous as she wrote in her post. According to Chinmayi’s post Malinga told the anonymous lady a lie by saying that her friend was inside her room and when she went inside, Malinga pushed her in the bed climbed onto her face. Failed to save herself from him, she closed her eyes.
However, it was the staff of the hotel, which gave her the perfect opportunity to wash her face and run away from Malinga’s bedroom. She felt humiliated and was afraid that nobody will believe her story as Malinga was a famous name. Take a look at the post:
