The singing legend Lata Mangeshkar who turned 90 on 28th September is struggling with severe lung infection and was hospitalized due to ill health. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after she complained about breathing problems. Lata Mangeshkar is being given medical treatment currently.
She was in ICU but had to be put on a ventilator as the condition is improving but it still continues to be critical. In conversation with her family, it has been revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia and her left ventricular has failed, after which she was admitted to the hospital.
Lata Mangeshkar may have been singing very few songs for the last decade due to her growing age, but despite this, her fan following has not decreased. She is very active on social media. Hearing the news that Lata was ill, fans wished her Get Well Soon and asked God for Lata’s quick recovery.
Lata Mangeshkar has received many awards such as Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Dada Saheb Phalke. Lata Mangeshkar undoubtedly has made an unprecedented contribution to Indian cinema.
