The star cricketer turned producer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set to bring up a sci-fi web series soon.
Former Cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who stepped into the entertainment industry with a documentary Roar of the lion in 2019. Will now bring forward a mythological sci-fi web-series. The cricketer along with his wife who is managing director of the production company spoke to Midday revealing about the details of their project. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni said: “We have acquired the rights of an unpublished book of a debutant author. We will adapt it into a web series. It is a mythological sci-fi story that explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori and is set at a high-tech facility on a remote island.”
She further said that we are trying to execute all the aspects of this universe and bring out every character and story to the screen as much as we can. And the way we are making this project I feel that it fits into a web series much better as compared to a feature film.
It seems like Mahendra Singh Dhoni is again ready to surprise his audience, as the project he is working on seems to be quite interesting. The star cricketer turned producer who launched his home banner Dhoni Entertainment, is currently working on the cast and location of their web series. That will also give a platform to deserving talent to showcase their skills.
Aside from all this, let us inform you that on 15th August this year. Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket. He made the confirmation through a video on Instagram, with a caption that read: “Thanks – Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”
