Pakistani star Mahira Khan uploaded a number of pictures from the pre-wedding rituals a few days after she wed. Mahira Khan did not mention the events. She did, however, share experiences about her family and friends who each had a part in making her special day memorable.
Mahira posted a couple pictures of herself wearing a pastel-colored outfit.
She penned down in the caption, “My mother had one wish… to start the wedding with a dua. My beautiful Ama, who is in a wheel chair – one would think she can’t do much – but really, she can do everything and anything. She sat and managed the decoration downstairs, the table, the moving around of furniture and she was ready dot on time.. Alhumdulillah for our parents. Later on, that day, my childhood girlfriends had a mayun for me. Alhumdulillah for friends I can call my sisters. P.S I took a bud of the motia and put it in my baali before going down.. for my Nani and Dadi.”
On October 1, in a private ceremony, Mahira Khan wed businessman Salim Karim.
Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo on Netflix will feature Mahira with Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. The popular 2013 Urdu-language novel by Farhat Ishtiaq has an official adaptation in the form of the television programme. Rahul Dholakia’s Raees starred Mahira alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
