On Sunday, as they left for a lunch date, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor put an end to breakup speculations. The pair were seen leaving a restaurant in Mumbai. After Malaika allegedly unfollowed Arjun’s family on Instagram, including sisters Anshula and Janhvi Kapoor, there were rumours that the two had broken up.
Malaika Arora wore a chic set of white shorts and a white button-down top, complete with matching shoes. Arjun wore a black T-shirt, black track trousers, a beanie to match and white sneakers. The most recent paparazzi images and videos appeared to show the pair in a joyful mood.
When he responded to a lovely video Malaika Arora posted on Instagram on Saturday, Arjun seemed to be hinting at a possible reconciliation. Malaika is not following Arjun or his family members on Instagram, despite the fact that he does. Arjun replied when Malaika tweeted a video of her dog Casper. “Handsome boy.” He wrote in another comment, “The real star of your life Casper.” This was enough for their fans to assume that things were fine between the two, with many leaving such comments on their social media.
Malaika unfollowing Arjun and his sisters wasn’t the only thing that contributed to the speculations of their breakup. When the claims first surfaced, Arjun was allegedly dating actor and influencer Kusha Kapila, who had just finalised her divorce from Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia.
In conversation with Brides Today, Malaika said, “I think he is insanely wise for his age, and that he has a very deep and strong soul. He is someone who’s very liberated and extremely caring. I don’t think they make men like that anymore. I could go on and on, but I admire these qualities the most.”
She added, “I feel like I am in my prime right now, and I want to work like this for the next 30 years. I don’t want to take a backseat; I want to explore so many businesses, I want to travel, and I would love to set up a home with Arjun and take our relationship to the next level because I think we both are ready for it.”
