Legendary actor Meena Kumari is one of the celebrated figure in the Hindi cinema. Her works span from Pakeezah to Baiju Bawra to Phool Aur Patthar and many more. To celebrate her glory and work she has designer Manish Malhotra will be making his directorial debut with a film based on her life.
The shoot is soon to be started with Kriti Sanon being the lead. As per the media reports, the film will be bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and is now engaged in the scripting stage. A Mirchi Plus stated that Malhotra will honour the the actor and display her venture through cinema and art. But there has been no official announcement.
On the other hand, Kriti Sanon too have proved her finesse through the projects she choose from Heropanti to Raabta to Mimi to Adipurush, she has come a long way. She will be producing her maiden project with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu for The Crew and will also star with Tiger Shroff for Ganpath-1.
