Mannara Chopra’s claim
In a recent interview, Mannara Chopra responded to Munawar Faruqui’s assertion of a kiss, calling it a “weird statement”. On the show, several people—including Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Big Brother 17, frequently questioned Mannara’s friendship with him, saying that the actress was falling for him.
In an interview with TOI, Mannara stated, “Oh my god! It’s a weird statement. There’s no footage like this. I don’t know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologize to me publicly.”
Munawar’s allegations
A few days prior to the Bigg Boss 17 championship show, Munawar shocked Ankita Lokhande by making a revelation. He claimed that Mannara gave him a Diwali kiss, perfectly imitating the motion. Munawar acknowledged that no one else had heard about it, even though Ankita didn’t see it.
Listening to all of this, Ankita claimed she had always known Mannara was in love with him. Ankita added that although she was there on Diwali night, she did not see Mannara cuddling up to him or kissing him.
“I don’t want to say this to her because it will be awkward for her,” he added.
The competition between Ankita Lokhande and Mannara was one of the season’s highlights. Mannara revealed more about her connection to Ankita Lokhande, saying, “If Ankita wants to be friends after watching the show, I will gladly embrace the friendship. After all, we stay in the same locality.”
