Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant‘s pre-wedding party in Jamnagar was really special. Something that we can call unforgettable. Ivanka Trump was one of the guests and shared pictures from the three-day celebration on Instagram. However, there was something that caught Maria Goretti, a former VJ and Arshad Warsi’s wife, attention. She noticed that an elephant was used at one of the venues and felt upset about how the animals were treated.
She posted several pictures of Ivanka Trump from the Ambanis’ pre-wedding party in Jamnagar. In one picture, she stood in front of a large decorated elephant. The elephant had decorations on its head too. Sharing the picture on her Instagram she wrote in the caption: “I’m appalled at this picture of the Ambani celebration. I don’t think this should happen to any animal, specially not to animals that are being rescued and rehabilitated. Heartbreaking just heartbreaking that this elephant was made to stand like a prop, in the middle of noise and people.”
About the pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar
There were about 2,000 other guests at the pre-wedding bash. Some notable attendees were King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and his wife Jetsun Pema from Bhutan.
