Mayank Madhur claims no clearance of dues by makers of Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas, seeks legal action

Producers of Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas may soon be faced with legal issues as they prepare for the premiere of their movie. According to Mayank Madhur, who claims to have worked on the movie, Tejas’ producers will be subject to legal action. Mayank represents himself as a political consultant for the BJP. In the Sarvesh Mewara-directed movie, Kangana plays a fighter pilot.

Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot, recounts his incredible adventures in Tejas. The movie is slated for release in October, which could conflict with Ganapath starring Tiger Shroff.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mayank claimed that he had assisted Kangana in obtaining filming permits for a few locations, including air force bases and other locations in Delhi, Moradabad, and Lucknow after she had been unsuccessful in obtaining them despite her two-year efforts. A 15-minute role in Tejas had previously been promised to him by director Sarvesh Mewara, he continued. “The length of my role kept getting shorter. Then I was told to come to shoot for a 1 or 2-minute appearance. I made it clear that I am not interested.”

In Tiku Weds Sheru, Mayank further asserted that Kangana had promised to give him credit as an associate producer; nonetheless, his name was simply given under special thanks. Additionally, he claimed that Sarvesh had defrauded him and that Kangana had promised he would receive his money before to the film’s premiere; however, now she is placing the onus on the film’s producers.

“Hence, I decided to go to the court. I’ll not reveal right now when I plan to go to the court, which court I’d be approaching and how exactly will I stop the film’s release. I want to get the makers arrested. I have taken guidance from the former chief justice of India to understand how I can take the matter further. I have even spoken to the chief ministers, PMO, home ministry etc to ensure that arrest warrants can be issued immediately from various states. Everything will be done as per the legalities,” he further added.

Mayank claimed in a prior interview with Dainik Bhaskar that he has known Kangana from her theatre days and has worked with her on numerous projects. He admitted to helping her obtain filming permits for films including Dhaakad, Tejas, Tiku Weds Sheru, and Emergency. He said he did this in an interview with a Hindi daily.

Kangana’s filmography, other from Tejas, is interesting. Her debut film as a filmmaker, Emergency, is forthcoming. In the movie, which hits theatres on November 24, she plays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
