On Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that Pakistan must be cognizant of the situation, take care of their minority and uphold the responsibility to ensure their safety and wellness. This statement comes after the report which stated that a Hindu women has been allegedly beheaded within the territorial boundaries.

Responding to a question related to the killing, MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said he is not having the detailed report of the instance yet. “In the past too we have said that Pakistan should take care of its minorities and fulfil its responsibility of their safety, security and well-being. I would like to reiterate that,” he said, adding that it is therefore not possible to comment specifically on the case.

A Hindu woman was killed in Pakistan as allegedly claimed in the reports. This mishap happened in the Sinjhoro town on Wednesday. The 40-year-old woman was left beheaded, stated the reports quoting the very words of a senator in Pakistan.
