A new Bollywood film Mere Pyare Prime Minister is releasing soon at the box office. The poster of the film was so intriguing that it filled the audience with curiosity. Now, the makers have released the trailer of the film. It seems very compelling. From the trailer, it seems that the film is a journey of an 8 years old boy named Kanhaiya. He lives in a slum in Mumbai with his single mother Sargam (Anjali Patil) in a place with no toilet facilities.

One day, after defecating in open while Sargam is returning to the home she gets raped. Then his son Kanhaiya decides to bring justice to her mother and writes a letter to the prime minister of India. He travels all the way from Mumbai to the capital city Delhi with his friends to make himself heard. Watch the trailer of the film below:

The film deals with the issue of open sanitation and defecation and its consequences that people suffer who live at the place without the facilities of toilets. The cast of the film also includes Atul Kulkarni, who plays an official at the Prime Minister’s Office. The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Mere Pyare Prime Minister is scheduled to release on March 15, 2019.
