On Tuesday, Malayalam megastar Mohanlal spilled the beans about working on a new project with filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. The actor tweeted about this update and expressed his excitement about the upcoming project.
“I’m delighted to announce that my next project will be with one of the most exciting and immensely talented directors in Indian cinema – Lijo Jose Pellissery. The project will be produced by John and Mary Creative, Max Labs and Century Films,” wrote Mohanlal.
The actor has given a blend of hits and flops, however, it has been observed that after Drishyam 2, he has been struggling to come to terms with the auidence’s taste and preferences on both smaller OTT platforms and films.
His array of recently launched films which include Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, Aaraattu, 12th Man, and Monster have been negatively received by the audience. Thus, it will be a major responsibility for the actor-director to sail the drowning ship through this project.
