MONEY HEIST IS GETTING A SOUTH KOREAN MAKEOVER
In June 2020, two months after Money Heist season 4 debuted on Netflix, it was reported by Naver News that the series was to get a South Korean remake with BH Entertainment.
Later that year, Naver News added that the new adaptation had gotten the greenlight from Netflix, with Kim Hong-sun as the director and Ryu Yong-jae as the scriptwriter. The article likewise revealed that the series had a temporary title of ‘House of Paper’.
On January 18th 2021, Netflix shared the first preview trailer for the series, affirming the title to be ‘Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area’.
MONEY HEIST: KOREA RELEASE DATE AND TIME EXPLAINED
On April 29th, Netflix shared a new teaser for Money Heist: Korea, in which it was affirmed that the global streaming release date had been set for June 24th, 2022.
