Actress Mouni Roy turned 35 on 28th September. And it would not be wrong to say that the birthday girl has stolen the heart of everyone with her glamorous looks. However, when she made her debut in the film industry with the T.V serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2006 by Ekta Kapoor, she was just a simple girl next door. But over the years she has stunned everyone with her bold looks.
The actress rose to fame after she appeared in the serial in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. And after that, she never looked back. Her next offer after this show was Naagin that gave her fame in the industry. Mouni was quite simple in her looks but later the actress was seen with the stunning transformation with thick eyebrows and fuller lips. And eventually making it to the silver screen.
While talking to Hindustan times she said “At times, many tend to forget my experience of working on television — the fact that I’ve been acting and dancing for 10 years. So, it’s not that things are coming to me when I’m at home sipping my tea. I had to work really hard to reach where I am today. I had to audition for each of these parts, prove myself to get the role in films.”

Mouni’s success started after she managed to appear on the big screen with John Abraham-starrer Romeo Akbar Walter and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Made In China in 2019. And now after climbing the ladder of success, she will yet again wow her fans with her upcoming project Brahmastra, that will also star Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as the lead couple with Mouni as the antagonist.
Today the Nagin actress is one of the well-known faces of the showbiz industry, however, she earlier revealed that she doesn’t want to be an actor. And just wanted to take up a job behind the camera. But according to her destiny has its own things to give and therefore it gave her an opportunity to become an actress.
