Ankush Rampal, who was last seen in a popular youth based reality show MTV Splitsvilla is all set to make his foray into the digital space with Prime Flix’s upcoming offering ‘Simran-The Lost Soul’. The actor affirmed he was a bundle of nerves while shooting the intimate scenes.
Talking about his role, Ankush said, “I am playing the role of Sahil in the series. He is a funky, fun-loving, mischievous and chilled out guy. I am really excited since I am debuting as an actor with this series. We have put a lot of effort while making it, I hope it gets a positive response from the audience.”
The dashing actor did a couple of intimate scenes with ‘Class of 2020’ fame Nibedita Pal. Wasn’t he skeptical about shooting the steamy scenes? “Honestly, I was a bit confused when I was told about the intimate scenes. I had discussed my concerns with Sushil Deshpande sir (MD Prime Flix) and the production house, and they assured it would be shot aesthetically. I took it as a challenge and gave the green signal. Let me admit, I was a bundle of nerves while shooting, because for the first time I did something like this in front of the camera. I am glad because the outcome is beautiful, all the scenes were elegant and organic, which is going to add depth to the viewing experience,” Rampal said.
Apart from Ankush and Nibedita, ‘Simran-The Lost Soul’ also features popular stars including Akanksha Puri, Karan Sharma, Gopi Bhalla, Keval Dasani, Mukesh Tiwari. The web-series produced by Sweety Walia will start streaming on Prime Flix from 4th July.
