Just a few minutes ago, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has revealed to the nation that India has become a superpower. He announced that on March 27, 2019, just a few minutes ago India has achieved a historic triumph. As our nation successfully conducts maiden anti-satellite weapons test (ASAT – anti-satellite missile). Modi named the operation #MissionShakti, he tweeted,
To let you know, by doing such a historic feat India has become the 4th country in the world after the US, Russia and China to have a satellite that can take down enemy satellite weapons. While addressing the nation, Modi said, “Mission Shakti operation was a difficult target to achieve which was completed successfully within three minutes of launch today.”
India has successfully taken down a low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite at the height of 300 km within just 3 minutes.
