Netflix’s latest series Wednesday has topped the charts by surpassing Stranger Things in terms of viewership hours. Since release, this series have made new records standing as the most-viewed English series past week, as per the data released by the streamer’ internal data assessment.
The series was out on November 23, which is a reprised version of the Charles Addams’ classic comic, with a runtime of 341.2 million hours, is streaming successfully in over 83 different countries across the globe. It outperformed right from the initial week and crossed the 335 million viewership hours held by Stranger Things 4 in the very first week. Post that it fetched a whopping viewership of 1.35 billion hours.
The series have been directed and produced by Tim Burton featuring Jenna Ortega, Gwendoline Christie, Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones. There have been speculations made on the making of a new season of Wednesday, however makers have not yet made it official yet.
