These days more than human we can see humanity in animals. You won’t believe that a newborn baby girl in Haryana’s Kaithal district saved by the stray dogs. The baby girl was dumped in the drain by her heartless mother right after her birth. Her body wrapped in bandages and she was fighting for her life.
Cameras caught the incident which took place around 4 am. In the video, a woman was seen walking towards a drain near the Dogra Gate in Kaithal and dumped the child wrapped in plastic into the drain. Alerted by the sound of the wailing newborn, stray dogs in the area start barking and rush in the direction of the sound.
The video reveals, after hearing the newborn’s weeping noise, the stray dogs pulled the child out of the drain and dragged it around. After hearing dogs barking, the bystanders rushed to witness the horror. They admitted the child immediately to the hospital and now the child is undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital.
The Principal Medical Officer of the hospital where the child is admitted said the baby weighs less than 1,100 grams and her condition is serious at the moment of reporting. A case has been registered by the police against the unknown woman who was seen throwing the baby girl into a drain.
In an incident very similar to the one above, a newborn baby was dumped in a drain in Dasna area of Ghaziabad district. The newborn was spotted by a woman who lives in the neighbourhood. The woman, who is identified as Shabnam, said she spotted the baby when she went out to fetch fodder for her cattle at 5 am in the morning. According to the woman, the infant’s body was wrapped in a gunny bag and was surrounded by barking stray dogs.
