Starring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat Ileana D’Cruz, Urvashi Rautela, Kriti Kharbanda, and Saurabh Shukla, Pagalpanti is released in theaters today. The comedy film is directed by Anees Bazmee, who is known for helming films like Welcome, No Entry and Singh Is King.
From the very first scene, the film is armed with loud action and dialogues trying to be funny, but far from that. And there are a lot of characters, one sillier than the other. While Anil Kapoor once again plays the flashy gangster with his trademark loudness, Arshad Warsi is the funny guy with witty one-liners. John Abraham exudes charm despite his goofy character and Pulkit Samrat once again plays up the boyish charm. The three heroines are looking pretty but mouthing silly lines such as “Papa kehte hain kiss karne se main pregnant ho jaungi. Director Anees Bazmee, along with his co-writers, throw in everything into the mix. From exciting car chases to high-octane destruction scenes, from African lions to an entire act involving industrial strength glue – all shot beautifully.
Among the artist is Arshad Warsi who is a funny guy with witty lines, Pulkit Samrat once again plays upon his boyish charm and Anil Kapoor is playing the role of Wifi Bhai as a flashy gangster. Urvashi Rautela who has played the role of Kavya is set to send a chill down your spine with her scary big nailed look.
In the role of Lalit Modi, Inamul Haque makes a strong presence. Overall, Pagalpanti is an entertaining film, in which you do not have to use your mind because the director has put his mind to make it entertaining for you.
