Pakistan’s National Assembly on Friday passed a resolution calling for the hanging of criminals. Who are convicted of sexual assault and murder of children. The Pakistani Parliament passed this proposal with an overwhelming majority. This law is passed by Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs.

However, the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party. And former Prime Minister Raza Pervez Ashraf has not described this exercise as appropriate. He said that just by giving harsh punishments will not reduce such crimes. We cannot punish public execution by violating UN laws. News agency IANS also quoted the Pakistani newspaper Dawn as saying that Raza Pervez Ashraf did not single-handedly raise a voice against such punishment.

Pakistan’s child rights organization Sahil released a report last September, according to which 1,304 cases of sexual abuse of children reported in Pakistan from January to June. This report states that at least seven children in Pakistan get sexually assault every day. The government is responsible for this issue. Human rights organizations in Pakistan have been raising their voice on the issue of not taking concrete measures to plug such laws to prevent such crimes.
