Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna claimed the treatment of corona with Coronil, shwassari bati, and anu oil. But according to recent news Ayush (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) appealed Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurved, not to advertise it until the ministry approves it.
On Tuesday 23 March, Patanjali’s Divya Pharmacy claimed to have invented the drug of Corona. When the matter came to the headlines, the Union Ayush Ministry took cognizance of it. The Ministry immediately stopped the promotion of the drug by sending a notice to Divya Pharmacy. On 24 June, the Uttarakhand AYUSH department also sent a notice to Divya Pharmacy, prohibiting the promotion of the drug. Also asked to reply to the notice within seven days.
The launch of the ‘Order Me’ app has also been postponed amid controversy over Patanjali Yogpeeth’s divine pharmacy drug ‘Coronil’. It was previously announced by Patanjali that the app will be launched on Monday. Through this app, any customer can book orders for medicine from anywhere in the country. The drug will be delivered within three days. Patanjali Yogpeeth spokesperson SK Tijarawala told that the app is under trial now. The app will be duly launched on the completion of the trial.
About Coronil
Coronil is made of the extracts of pure Giloy, Tulsi, and Ashwagandha. It was clinically tried on 280 COVID-19 patients and 69% of them were cured within three days, Coronil has shown 100% favorable results during the clinical trial on COVID-19 patients. The corona kit contains three medicines – Coronil, Shwasari, and Anu Tel. That will cost Rs 545 and will have medicines for 30 days. Patanjali claimed that medicine can be taken as prevention for coronavirus. However, Baba Ramdev claims that it as a cure for coronavirus.
