At the pre-release screening of his upcoming movie Bro, Pawan Kalyan spoke about the claims of nepotism in the Telugu cinema business. The film industry is not unique to any family or individual, Pawan remarked as he spoke to his nephews and actors Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, and Vaishnav Tej. He also shared his experience in the business thus far.

Bro, helmed by Samuthirakani, is a remake of Vinodhaya Sitham, the director’s original Tamil film. Sai Dharam Tej, Priya Prakash Varrier, Ketika Sharma, Brahmanandam, and Subbaraju are featured as well. Pawan discussed his initial response to the proposal that he pursue acting during the event.

While addressing the audience he mentioned, “The doors to cinema and politics are open for all.” Additionally, he said that although there can be issues inside families, the audience would always come first. “We may have issues amongst us, but we’re all striving hard to entertain you. When someone like us with ordinary backgrounds can do it, why can’t anyone else?” he further stated.

Pawan on the work front will be next seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu in his first ever collaboration with filmmaker Krish Jagrlamudi. He also has Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
