Earlier, approximately a year ago a video of her in which she was getting intimate with her boyfriend leaked online. Poona claimed that her account hacked but users called it her publicity stunt. Poonam’s Instagram account is filled with similar videos. There has also been a debate about her bold content as it violates the Instagram guidelines. Despite this, no action has been taken by Instagram on her videos.
Poonam Pandey shot to fame when she promised to strip for the Indian cricket team if it won the 2011 Cricket World Cup. India won the World Cup, however, Pandey did not fulfil her promise and claimed she was denied permission by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Poonam Pandey also gave a befitting reply to a Pakistan advertisement that mocked IAF commando Abhinandan ahead of World Cup 2019 but in her bold style.
