Bollywood filmmaker and husband of Sonali Bendre, Goldie Behl has made a very shocking statement. He is all set to make his digital debut with the upcoming web series Rejctx. According to him, these days, youngsters are more affected by social media and porn addiction than drugs, because they are obsessed with the virtual world.
His web series Rejectx is about several issues that the young generation is facing today. Goldie told IANS, “Today’s millennials are dealing with problems that are more internal than before. Youngsters today are brought up in a world where the internet is a part of their life, as normally as the mobile phone was when we were teenagers. These days, kids are less judgmental when it comes to things such as sexual orientation, job profile or friendship. The problems are quite different these days. For instance, they are more affected by social media and porn than drug addiction!”
He also cleared that through his show, he is not giving any solution to these problems but just showcasing reality. To let you know, Rejctx is a musical thriller set in an international college campus in Singapore and the story revolves around seven students. It will show the diverse perspectives of things and people as the story reflects upon global citizens. The show is having 10 episodes and will start streaming from July 25 on ZEE5.
Rejectx is starring Kubbra Sait, Sumeet Vyas, Masi Wali, Anisha Victor, Ayush Khurana, Prabhneet Singh, Ridhi Khakhar, Saadhika Syal and Pooja Shetty in the pivotal roles.
