After much wait, the makers of Prabhas’ forthcoming movie, Salaar’ announced that the movie will be released on September 28, 2023.
This means that the movie will be clashing at the box office with Siddharth Anand’s forthcoming movie, ‘Fighter’, featuring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles which is also set to release on the same date. The movie was at first scheduled for a Republic Day release next year. But, the action-thriller was deferred to accommodate the filmmaker’s ‘Pathaan’ with Shah Rukh Khan.
Helmed by Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar’ is a pan-India film that will be released in five languages, including Hindi. It will likewise feature Shruti Haasan in a lead role.
‘Fighter’, on the other hand, will reportedly be India’s first aerial action franchise. This is the first time Hrithik and Deepika will be seen sharing the screen space in a movie. ‘Fighter’ will be made on a huge scale for a global audience. At the same time, it will remain true to its Indian roots and salute the valour, sacrifice, and patriotism of our armed forces.
Aside from this, Prabhas has Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ in his pipeline. The movie likewise features Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. Hrithik, on the other hand, will be seen in ‘Vikram Vedha’ co-featuring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role.
Deepika and Prabhas will likewise be featured together in Nag Ashwin’s untitled movie for the first time. The film likewise features Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role.
