Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar shared on Instagram that they have been expecting their first child. In addition to posting a heartfelt greeting as parents, they released sonograms of their unborn child. The wedding took place in Mumbai on July 16, 2021. While the actor was a contestant on Bigg Boss 14, the singer had proposed to him.
On Instagram, Disha shared pictures of her with Rahul and wrote, “Hello from Mummy Daddy to be & the BABY!!” They received kind wishes and congrats from followers and friends in the comments area. The pair received congratulations from colleagues in the profession including Jasmin Bhasin, Anita Hassanandani, Mouni Roy, Bharti Singh, Aly Goni, and Nakuul Mehta. Fans dubbed it the “best news of the era” as well.
While speaking to Zoom Digital, Rahul said, “I had done a song ‘Mere Rashke Qamar’, which went viral on social media. She happened to see it on Jitesh Pillai’s Instagram. And that’s the time she actually went up to my profile and she just dropped a message that ‘loved it and very well sung’. And that’s the time we started talking to each other on Instagram first.”
The television series Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain are among Disha’s most well-known works. In 2005’s inaugural season of Indian Idol, Rahul participated and finished third. In Hindi movies like Jaan-E-Mann (2006) and Race 2 (2013), he has performed the music. A recent music video called Prem Kahani featured Disha and Rahul together.
