Rajveer Bansal a student of Jayshree Periwal International School in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Talked about launching app, named ‘Teens For Tails’ to help stray dogs.

It would not be wrong to say that teens nowadays have become much smarter and focused than they suppose to be earlier. Whether it’s about technology or a noble initiative. They are contributing to the nation at a very young age. One such teenager that we have come across is Rajveer Bansal a student of Jayshree Periwal International School in Jaipur, Rajasthan. At just the age of 17 years, he took a step forward for a noble cause. Recently he spoke about launching an app named ‘Teens For Tails’, to help stray dogs.

In an interview with DNA, speaking about his plans he said Teens for Tails was just taking off amid the coronavirus pandemic, however, now it is going digital. Speaking about the same, Rajveer said, “We are feeding 6000 animals daily and 1200 kgs of food, and now ‘Teens for Tails’ is an app. It is a discovery platform where the users. They can directly connect with the volunteers associated with the platform whether it is for sterilization or vaccination or adoption of those pets.”

    Know how the App works

This App works exactly like Uber. The way we see the cars around to book our ride. In the same way, when you open this app, you see a map and can trace out where the animals are. Stray dogs usually don’t change their locality unless there is a threat posed to them. Therefore this aap helps to locate these animals. Once you see the animal on the map upload it and geotag it on the app. So that they can see the stray animals around them or the location of the nearest NGO.”
