Yashraj Films one of India’s biggest and most acclaimed production houses will be celebrating its golden anniversary next year and already has a star-studded line up for its 50-year celebrations. Founded in 1970 by Yash Chopra, the production house continues to make films even today, under the able guidance and leadership of his son Aditya Chopra.
Gearing up for its golden jubilee Yash Raj production house is lining up a string of star-studded movies as a part of its 50-year celebrations. However, there has been no official announcement on these projects yet. Yash Raj Films slate seems to be outstanding in the year 2020 with movies like Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj, Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar and multi-starrer Shamshera. A new project that is under discussion is apparently an action drama featuring Tiger Shroff and Ranbir Kapoor who are among the young and talented actors of this generation. It will surely be interesting to see the two young heartthrobs sharing screen space together on one such project. If reports are to be believed, filmmaker Aditya Chopra may be planning a big-budget action film with Ranbir Kapoor and Tiger Shroff. Tiger Shroff is currently busy shooting for ‘Baaghi 3’. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Shamshera’ in 2020.
It’s an amazing coincidence that the 50th golden jubilee year of YRF also is the 25th year of Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), which marked his directorial debut.
