Famous Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up to play the character of Lord Ram in a big-budget film titled Ramayan, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The excitement surrounding the project has been increasing day by day, Just recently, some pictures of him and actress Sai Pallavi, who’s going to be Goddess Sita, went viral online. Fans were over the moon when Zoom Entertainment shared these sneak peek photos from the ongoing filming of the movie.
The photos, which have gone viral on social media, show Ranbir and Sai walking around in a garden, but the interesting part is that they’re dressed up as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita! Although the director wanted to keep this big project under wrap, somehow these photos got leaked. Dressed in matching maroon outfits, they looked adorable together. A fan reshared the photos with the caption, “#RanbirKapoor just looks so PERFECT as Lord Rama, so does #SaiPallavi as Sita… Hats off to #NiteshTiwari’s casting (100 emoji).”

Coming to the details of the film Ramayana, we will see Yash essaying the role of Ravana. While Arun Govil will essay on the role of Dashrath. And the role of Kaikeyi will be played by Lara Dutta. If reports are to be believed, Naveen Polishetty will be Lakshman, Sunny Deol will play the role of Lord Hanuman. Sakshi Tanwar will be essaying the role of Mandodari. The first installment of the film is said to be released in 2025.
On the work front, Ranbir is busy with Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan, where he shares the screen with Sai Pallavi, Yash, Lara Dutta, and others. The actor has a couple more exciting projects lined up titled Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where he stars alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, and also the Brahmastra series by Ayan Mukerji.
