A video is going viral on social media in which some mad villagers are beating a tigress to death. She was six years old tigress who was beaten to death by a mod armed with sticks. This shocking video gave goosebumps to many and showed the helplessness of the creature who can’t even cry loudly.

What the hell!! This is allegedly from Pilibhit. The full grown tiger was beaten to death by the villagers! We take over their natural habitat & then such display of cruelty! @ParveenKaswan @susantananda3 pic.twitter.com/08srBnpy5J

After the video went viral, an FIR was registered against 31 identified and 12 unknown people. The video belonged to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR). The field director H Rajamohan had said on the incident that “The tigress’ age was assessed between five and six years. She had sustained fractures and injuries from sharp-edged weapons like spears on almost every part of her body. She also had broken ribs. The tigress was cremated after the autopsy.”

After such a brutal incident, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza tried to churn a controversy by starting the cycle of the blame game, and her target was the forest officials. She tweeted,

“The tigress could have been rescued and given timely medical aid as the forest officials had reached the spot. But their inability to rescue the injured big cat in a span of over nine hours undoubtedly reflects their inability in protecting wildlife in adverse situations.” https://t.co/Nmibo4vnG6

However, actor Randeep Hooda was quick to give her back and he called out her tweet as a meek attempt to blame forest officials without any basis. He tweeted,

With all due respect I disagree with this sweeping accusation @deespeak Forest dept is capable and doing good work. She was beyond rescue when found as I talked with experts. Even staff got injured in process. It’s the forest dept thats keeping our wildlife alive not just NGOs🙏🏽 https://t.co/03roi3awf2

Dia Mirza didn’t stop and tried to distance herself from the quoted comments and represented herself as someone who cared about wildlife, she tweeted,

However, Randeep called her out for selectively quoting the part which had indicated towards the alleged failure of forest officials.

After Randeep’s last reply, Dia changed the tone. Clearly, Randeep Hooda pointed out her when she was uselessly blaming forest officials for the heinous crime committed by the mob.
