Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh married actress Deepika Padukone in Italy on November 14-15 in 2018 following Konkani and Sindhi wedding ceremonies. However, their reception only happened a month later.
They gave to receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively.
Their Mumbai reception was for Bollywood friends and colleagues where biggies Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and others graced the event.
In a recent interview, Ranveer said he was really happy that both Katrina and Anushka were became the part of his wedding reception celebration. The actor said that,
“They were present at the wedding because they weren’t there for the sake of it. It was special for me that Anushka Sharma came for the wedding reception. Both the actors were there to wish them well, and it was a really lovely gesture.”
To let you know, Ranveer Singh dated Anushka Sharma soon after his debut film Band Baaja Baraat. The actors did a few films together after it but haven’t been in touch since then, according to several reports. They broke up when Ranveer left Anushka for Sonakshi Sinha and later went on to date Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, Deepika and Katrina reportedly shared animosity soon after Ranbir and Deepika’s split.
Ranbir Kapoor left Deepika Padukone to date Katrina Kaif. Interestingly, soon after meeting at the reception, Deepika and Katrina are said to have started following each other on social media and fans couldn’t have asked for anything better.
