“From Raveena Tandon To Nawaz Sharif. This was the message sent to the Prime Minister of Pakistan long back in 1999. The topic was very much in discussion during those times. It was when the Indian soldiers place some of the bombs used in the Kargil war. And while sending the bomb they wrote the actress’s name. But now after a long time, the Mohra actress finally broke the silence on this.
Talking to the news agency and revealing her thoughts the actress said “I would advise the whole world that if anything can be negotiated with love and talk, please do it. Khoon ka rang laal idhar bhi hai aur udhar bhi. No one should feel proud about any mother losing their sons or daughters… If I have to stand there (defending the border) to safeguard my country, de do mere haath mein bandook, main vahaan khadi ho jaaungi.”
Let us tell you that long back during those times, lots of Pakistani’s were very big fans of Madhuri Dixit and Raveena Tandon. Especially Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif who was a big admirer of Raveena Tandon. In fact, in the 1999 Kargil War Pakistan soldiers also gave a message that they will leave Kashmir if both these actresses will be handed over to them. Well, it’s a fact that many of you might not be aware of.
Talking about the actress’s work front she has made her OTT debut with the web series ‘Aranyak’ which is basically a suspense thriller released on Netflix in December 2021. In the series, the actress was seen portraying the role of SHO Kasturi Dogra who solves the murder mystery. And, no wonder the series had lots of twists and turns. Talking about the second season the producer Sidharth Roy Kapur also said that the second season is also confirmed.
