Actress Raveena Tandon, comedian Bharti Singh, and filmmaker Farah Khan have landed themselves in legal trouble because of hurting religious sentiments of a community during the show, which specially aired on Christmas day.
Amritsar’s police have has filed a case against the three famous personalities, Bollywood actress Raveena Tondon, Producer-director Farah Khan and ace comedienne Bharti Singh for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of a community during a TV show. The case under Section 295-A IPC has been registered at Ajnala police on December 25, 2019, by SSP Vikram Jeet Duggal. The complainant also provided the police with the footage of the offensive program.
Farah, Bharti, and Raveena, during the course of the show, ‘said some terms about Christianity which failed to like by the audience and after finding the show’s content to be ‘an insult to faith’, the complaint was lodged. The reports also mentioned that the Police lodged the FIR after examining the video, but Raveena, Farah, and Bharti are yet to respond to these allegations.
Currently, Bharti Singh is in Amsterdam with hubby Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Raveena Tandon was recently in Amritsar with her family where she visited the Golden Temple to seek blessings. Farah is also recently in the news for having been approached to host the extended version of Bigg Boss 13.
