John Abraham seems to be interested in doing the patriotic films. After giving very good films on patriotism like Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Satyamev Jayate now he is all set to come on screens with his upcoming film RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter.
Yes, as its title suggest, it seems to be a story on India’s intelligence agency Research And Analysis Wing (RAW). The trailer of the film got released recently by the makers. The trailer begins with Jackie Shroff declaring, “We are on the verge of a war with Pakistan’.

According to the trailer, the character of Jackie Shroff in the film recruits John’s character, whom he trains to operate a special mission ‘that could change the course of history for India’. Abraham goes undercover in Pakistan, but finds himself in the the cross hairs of Sikandar Kher’s police officer and Anil George’s fundamentalist cleric.
As John reportedly playing the role of a RAW agent, he will be seen in three completely different avatars of Romeo, Akbar and Walter as shown on the film’s poster also. But earlier in an interview, John revealed that he will be seen in 8 different looks or roles in the film which will vary from an 85 years old man to 26 years old boy.
The plot of the story revolves around the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and is said to be inspired by true events. Apart from John, the film also stars Mouni Roy and Sikander Kher. The film is slated to release on April 5.
