Disney’s adventure story ‘Raya and the Last Dragon, is in the talks these days as it has maintained it’s position to no-1.

A combination of increased vaccinations and lower COVID-19 infection and hospitalization rates has allowed LA County to move into the second tier of California’s reopening system, which allows cinemas to open their doors at 25% capacity. This milestone, along with reopenings in other major cities like New York, should be enough to bring the number of open theaters in the country to over 3,000 next week.

However, Comscore reports that the number of plays that have reopened has fallen slightly from 2,848 last weekend to 2,713. This is partly because some independent cinemas are temporarily closing again to keep operating costs down until an important title arrives that owners believe can make moviegoers. That could be in two weeks with the Warner Bros. release. “Godzilla vs. Kong” in theaters and on HBO Max on March 25th.

The rest of the top 5 of the weekend stayed the same as last weekend. Warner Bros. ‘ “Tom & Jerry” remains in second place at $ 4.1 million at 2,434 locations on the third weekend and a domestic volume of nearly $ 26 million. Lionsgate’s “Chaos Walking” ranks at $ 1.995 at $ 2.25 million Locations on the second weekend in third place, totaling $ 6.9 million. Big things then drop below $ 1 million per film, with “Boogie” by Focus Features in fourth place with $ 730,000 from 1,272 screens and a total of $ 2.2 million after 10 days. Universal’s long-running “The Croods: A New Age” completes the top 5 with $ 530,000 and a domestic volume of $ 54.3 million after four months in theaters.
