Hope that you remember Ashiqui fame actress Anu Aggarwal who became an overnight fame after the film Ashiqui in which she appeared alongside actor Rahul Roy. She was the one who carved a niche in the hindi film industry. And was a well known face of 90’s. After trying out her hands at modelling she made her screen appearence in 1988 in a serial at Doordarshan chanel. But later she was away from the screen.
And now after many years we came to know about a tragic incident that happened to her. As the actress recently opened up about her life after she met an accident in the year 1999. She shared her experience about the accident that completely changed her life, and also spoke up how the fans used to line up in front of her house to take autographs during that time in Mumbai. Even though there was a lot of fans following the actress said she felt quite lonely.
Talking to a news chanel she said: “After the success of ‘Aashiqui’, the kind of attention and love I got from the people was overwhelming. I was all by myself in the city as my parents used to stay in Delhi. When I would go out for a swim or dinner, fans would come and take my autograph; people used to stand outside my house to get a glimpse of me.”
However, a car accident that took place in 1999. Completely transformed her life. And the actress revealed it herself during a conversation with the news agency. The actress revealed that she was in coma for 29 days, and later regained consciousness. she said “After the accident, I knew nothing, but I knew my spiritual name. In 2001, I took ‘sanyas (renunciation)’ and kept my head shaved. I lived with a bag in one hand, in humble surroundings. just studying the mind and human psychology. In 2006, I came back and started meeting people and the press stationed outside my house. I would greet them with humility,”
She also spoke about the horrible experience when people posted her before and after pictures. And that made the actress quite depressed. The Aashiqui actress spoke that people posted her no-makeup look pictures. Talking about her career let us tell you that Anu was offered overseas films in the year 2007 to 2008. But the actress claimed that she wanted to help people rather than nailing herself in Bollywood. And hence 20 years ago she signed international projects.
