Unhappy over the Mumbai Police investigation, Sushant’s family broke the silence and actor’s father KK Singh made serious allegations against the actress and Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar police station. When the police reached Mumbai for investigation, Rhea’s lawyer filed an application in the Supreme Court and demanded to transfer the investigation of the case registered in Patna to Mumbai. Reacting to the case, Sushant’s father’s advocate Vikas Singh, alleged that someone in the Mumbai Police was helping Rhea Chakraborty.
Vikas Singh told that if Rhea Chakraborty reached the top court, she should have filed a CBI inquiry petition. . The FIR has been lodged in Patna, now Rhea has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to keep the case in Mumbai. He said that what more proof is needed now, someone in Mumbai Police is helping Rhea.
The lawyer also said that Sushant’s family also tried to register an FIR against Rhea in Mumbai. But the police forced the family to name the big production house. He further said that if we do not directly hold them responsible then why should we name the production house? They may have some involvement indirectly, but this may not be the basis for what we say. You forget Rhea and fall behind the big production house.
Let us tell you that initially the Bihar Police was also hesitating to register an FIR in the case, but did so after the intervention of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that we want the Patna Police to investigate this matter.
