Actor Richa Chadha who recently tied know with actor-husband Ali Fazal is all set to step into the world cinema. She has been signed for a fresh project helmed and crafted by a British director.
Chadha is also working for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series titled Heera Mandi. In her pipeline includes her production film Girls Will Be Girls, in which she will be playing the lead in the Indo-British production. The shoot will begin in London from January.
“I’m excited to partner with creative brains from the UK, who want to tell different stories and look at the immigrant experience from a new lens. I’ve read the script and decided to go ahead with it. The story is interesting and I really liked my character,” said the actor.
The actor further added, “I have wanted to work outside of India, but I never pursued it actively till the opportunity presented itself and I could not say no. I’m happy to work in all languages and industries, not just in the West, but in India as well.”
However, this is not the maiden project of this nature. Chadha was a part of the Indo-American productions in the film Love Sonia (2018), alongside Mrunal Thakur.
