One of those shows with a devoted and enthusiastic fan base is Rick and Morty. The Dan Harmon-created show has had an incredible run of seasons thus far, and it is expected to have many more during its initial run.
On January 22, 2024, Adult Swim, the production company behind the first animated series, unveiled a brand-new teaser video for the anime series.
Fans’ reactions to the teaser trailer were mixed; some liked the franchise’s new direction, while others felt that the anime format wasn’t appropriate for this particular property.
“Tf is this” said a fan, another wrote, “Really excited to see what kind of story the anime is going to tell”
Amazing behind the scenes
Creator Dan Harmon of Community and his team were the ones behind the original Rick and Morty sitcom.
As its CGI director, Yi Kao (Sou Ki) of Souki Production is another highlight of the show. The renowned artist previously worked on the CGI of Attack on Titan: The Final Season.
Love is Entropy by OC from Code Zero, with lyrics penned by Cameron Earnshaw, will be the opening theme of the Rick and Morty anime series. The ten-episode season of the show is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
