    Reliance becomes largest generator of wealth, surpasses TCS, Infosys

    Five times in a row since 2018, RIL has been the largest generator of wealth, per a Motilal Oswal analysis.

    Based on the available statistics, Reliance has generated around ₹9.6 lakh crores in wealth thus far in 2023. In the meantime, the company’s price to income ratio increased 24 times in 2023 as opposed to 15 times in 2018.

    In terms of wealth generation, RIL has outperformed companies like Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, Infosys, and Bharti Airtel this year, continuing its five-year run at the top of the study.

    From 2018 to 2023, a little-known business by the name of Lloyd Metals emerged as the quickest wealth producer. The company’s price compound annual growth rate (CAGR) exceeded 79 percent.

    In the end, billionaire Gautam Adani’s two companies, Adani Power and Adani Enterprises, were surpassed by Lloyd Metals. With a 78 percent CAGR, Adani Enterprises held the second place, while Adani Power dropped to the fifth spot with a 52 percent CAGR.

    As per the Motilal Oswal survey, TCS secured the second position among the top wealth producers in India, while Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance maintained its position as the leader. The money generated by the top 5 companies on the list is mentioned below –

    Reliance Industries Limited – ₹9,63,800 crore

    Tata Consultancy Services – ₹6,77,400 crore

    ICICI Bank – ₹4,15,500 crore

    Infosys – ₹3,61,800 crore

    Bharti Airtel – ₹2,80,800 crore
