Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant played extremely well in the warm-up match against the home club Leicestershire as he played for the Leicestershire in the warm-up game in which he smashed 76 runs before getting out in Ravindra Jadeja’s delivery.
Rishabh Pant and other players were not allowed to engage with fans due to the COVID protocols but Rishabh Pant does it anyway.
While some fans think it to be an act of innocent gesture by the young wicket-keeper while others slam remark on Pant for his unacceptable behaviour which might put the series in jeopardy.
KL Rahul had groin injury and was unavailable for the last test against the England. Rohit Sharma too, on Saturday, tested positive for COVID-19, thereafter such acts by Pant might raise serious questions on BCCI and the management after Pant’s engagement with a group of fans.
Rishabh Pant clicked a group selfie, and signed some autographs including the little kid’s who was extremely happy. The guards at the Grace stadium made it clear that no Indian player will sign autographs or click selfies but Pant did it anyway.
