The trailer of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was out today and it left fans in excitement backed with anticipation of cameo role. It is because Johar’s films always have a surprise element through cameos of actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji.
Karan recently revealed about SRK’s cameo, “No, he is not (in the film) but his love and blessings are always with me. He is family to me and he was the first person to put out the first unit of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” The filmmaker stated that nevertheless there are “three surprise cameos” in the film.
He mentioned, “Fortunately, for all of you, I am not in the film. My success as an actor has been pretty much zero.” Earlier today the same speculated Ananya Panday’s glimpse in the dance sequence shown in the trailer.
When he was asked about how he got the inspiration for the building up characters he said, “Rocky is definitely inspired by somebody who I can’t reveal right now. Rani is like many people I have met. In fact, a member of the media that I knew very well and dressed a lot like the way Rani does” .
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani features Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Dharmendra. The film hit theaters on July 28.
