Salman Khan as of late applied for a gun license after he and his dad Salim Khan received a death threat in early June, only days after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead near Punjab’s Mansa on May 29. They reportedly had two signatories with just the initials G.B and L.B -which are being interpreted as the names of Lawrence Bishnoi, who had threatened the superstar in 2018 as well and his Canada- based aide Goldy Brar. A couple of days back, Salman was likewise seen at the Mumbai police headquarters as he visited Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, which is when the licensing procedure was finished.

Presently, as per Hindustan Times, Salman has been given a gun license for self-protection in the midst of death threats. He had likewise updated his regular car to a bulletproof land cruiser. The report stated that a senior IPS official affirmed that the license was printed and as per the procedure, the file was shipped off the office of the deputy commissioner of police (zone 9) for verification as well as to check the criminal record. Further, the officials added that once the document verification and background check were cleared, looking at the seriousness of the threat the police headquarters cleared the file.
Reportedly, Salman’s representative collected the license from the firearm license in the police headquarters and it was given over in the wake of taking the acknowledgment of the person.
