Samantha Ruth Prabhu responds wittily to movie producer Chittibabu after he made a crude remark about the actor. On Saturday, Samantha posted something on Instagram Stories that appeared to make a reference to Chittibabu and his ear hair.
In a latest interview, Chittibabu pointed that Samantha’s career as a “heroine is finished, and she cannot get back to stardom. She should continue her journey doing the offers she gets.” During a conversation with On Manorama he mentioned, “Every time sentiment will not work. If the role and film are good, people will watch. All these are cheap and insane acts. I wonder how Samantha, who lost her her heroine status, is suited for the role of Shakuntala. I do not have any interest in Shaakuntalam.”

Shaakuntalam is based on the well-known Indian classic drama Abhigyan Shakuntalam by Kalidasa, the finest playwright and poet of ancient India. King Dushyant’s wife Shakuntala was also the mother of Emperor Bharata. Samantha is placed opposite Dev Mohan.
In Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, the movie premiered in theatres on April 14.
Talking about the movie, Samantha spoke to ANI, “It’s a love story. And love is like a universe in itself. Our cultural heritage is rich. And the story of this film is inspired from one of our oldest classics. Apart from the story, the movie has high-level graphics and special effects.”
