A father loves his daughter very much. Takes care of her every need. Makes her big. Once he will stifle his desires but will fulfill all the wishes of the daughter. Actually we are talking here about the popular TV show ‘Diya Aur Baati hum’ serial actress Deepika Singh. Deepika has made her mark from house to house as Sandhya Bahu through this show. Many people like her. She also dominates social media. Millions of fans yearn to have a glimpse of her.
But Deepika’s own father was so angry with her that he did not talk to her daughter for a year. Actually Deepika kept a secret hidden from her father. Later, when his father came to know about this secret, he was very sad. His displeasure grew so much that he stopped talking to his daughter for a year. Deepika has recently told in an interview about this difficult time of her life.
Deepika says that when I was doing bank job, I did not tell my father about this. She told that I was doing correspondence. But when the bank’s book came home, he came to know about it. Then they got very angry with me. His anger lasted for a year. He didn’t even talk to me this one year. Actually the condition of my house was bad. So I had to become self-independent. Although I used to teach tuitions but I could not make a living from it.
Deepika further says that I was always courageous. That’s why I left college. However, when I got admission in B.Com (Hons) in Indraprastha College, my father was happy. I knew that I would be pressurized to get married as soon as I got my B.Com. The same happened with my sisters. That’s why I did a job for two months by giving a bank exam.
Deepika tells that her father’s wish was that I give the civil service exam and clear it. They wanted me to be an officer. Once his friend’s phone rang. He proudly said that my daughter has become an IPS officer. After that my father called me. He forgot that I am an actress. He said that I always wanted that your name should be taken with respect. Although now her father is proud of his daughter.
