Satyaprem Ki Katha has been doing poorly at the box office this week despite receiving favourable reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations. With sales of about 4.2 crore nett on Tuesday, the movie didn’t show much progress.
The love musical drama, which Sameer Vidwans directed, also has a social message. Along with Rajpal Yadav, it also features Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao, Shikha Talsania, Siddharth Randeria, and Anuradha Patel.
Satyaprem Ki Katha brought in about 4.2 crore on Tuesday, in line with Monday’s earnings, according to a report on Sacnilk.com. The movie opened to a respectable 9.25 crore on Thursday before going on to earn 12.15 crore on Sunday. The six-day total net revenue is currently at about 46.91 crore.
Recently, Kiara Advani wrote a letter to the audience in gratitude for their support. On Instagram, she posted: “Today what has truly touched me is seeing my fans rejoice with all the reviews coming my way..they have rooted for me since the very beginning and seeing them feel a sense of victory has made me really emotional, I owed it to them, it has taken me some time, but here we are finally! On Tuesday, Kartik released the name of his upcoming movie, Chandu Champion. The movie is slated to debut on June 14 of next year and will be co-produced and directed by Kabir Khan, best known for the film 83.
