    Shah Rukh Khan Makes Headlines For Donating 500 Remdesivir Injections For COVID Patients

    Delhi Health Minister Satyendar thanked actor Shah Rukh Khan for his donation. The actor is currently in the news for donating 500 Remdesivir injections for COVID-19 patients.

    We all know that 2020 was one of the worst years that we came across. As the pandemic that began at the beginning of the year is still ruining up numerous things across the globe. From jobs to business everything got badly affected. Apart from these million people lost their lives due to the corona Pandemic. Amid this while, the people were still struggling many celebs from Bollywood extended support by distributing food, PPE kits, mask, and other things. And the situation was so worst that any other help from any organization or any celeb was welcomed by the government. Meanwhile, the name of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan again surfaced on social media for the contribution he made recently. The actor is currently in the news for donating 500 Remdesivir injections for COVID-19 patients.

    This is the time when any help in terms of donation of PPE kits, government-approved injections, or medications have been welcomed by authorities that are working day and night to bring down the count of infected people. And Shah Rukh again turned out to be supporting again. Earlier also he made his contributions by turning his office into COVID-19 ward and now his contribution of donating 500 injections was also worth praising. In response to this Taking to his Twitter account, the Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain tweeted: “We are extremely thankful to Sh.. @iamsrk, and @MeerFoundation for donating 500 Remdesivir injections at a time when it was needed the most. We are much obliged for the support extended by you during the time of crisis.”

He said in a press conference that “The death rate of COVID will decrease slowly. The shortage of ICU beds will be addressed soon. ICU beds are used for emergency purposes and also for COVID patients. In Delhi, 13,000 beds are lying vacant. Delhi is the largest state with so many vacant beds. We have 18,800 beds in hospitals in total.” Delhi has registered a downfall of about 80% positive cases. The positivity rate of RT-PCR tests is also lower”
